Gala entertainment in Berlin
At a gala, the show act is the moment that separates the evening from the menu — Jim & John from Berlin perform it as live acrobatics between courses, after the awards or as the opening to the dancing. For charity galas, award nights, balls and anniversary celebrations, the duo's more elegant formats fit best: hand-to-hand partner acrobatics in five to fifteen minutes, on request tied into live music, lighting design and a matched costume colour. Because the act works without language, it carries an international audience too. Stilt walkers or mirror costumes can open the champagne reception, while a combination of several acts from the Berlin artist pool can close the night. Jim & John have performed at the Sofitel Berlin, the Tipi am Kanzleramt, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and — together with Cirque du Soleil and the CosmicArtists — at the televised opening of the 2019 World Championships in Dubai.
