The Stage Sweepers at a glance
The Stage Sweepers is a surprise show act by the Berlin acrobatics duo Jim & John, made for corporate events, galas and award ceremonies. Two apparent cleaners walk onto the stage during the running programme and start tidying up; what looks like a glitch in the schedule turns, via quick change, into a seven-minute partner acrobatics number with comedy. The appeal lies in the break: the audience first takes them for event staff, which is why the act works without an announcement and needs no changeover of its own — the setup is built into the show.
